Richland County Council generally meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. All meetings are open to the public. The meetings are held inside Council Chambers, located on the second floor.

The Communications Committee oversees a communications network that raises public awareness of the party, its activities, values, legislative agenda and elected officials. The communications network includes various media: email, the RCDP newsletter, traditional journalism (print and digital), and social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
Members should have an interest or experience in at least one of the following: (a) journalism; (b) marketing and communications strategy; (c) using social media; (d) video production or editing; (e) graphic design; (f) layout and production software.
The B-I-C caucus meets on the second Monday for discussions with dinner at Tonella’s Pizza Kitchen. While meetings are free, attendees should anticipate costs for their food and/or beverage order.
This caucus meets on the second Saturday of the month.
A $12 Buffet-style breakfast is available during the meeting.

The Longcreek Democrats caucus meets quarterly.
As is tradition, the event will get started at 5 p.m. with live bluegrass music and clogging folk dancers, with the political speaking to begin at 6 p.m.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is planning to be there, and other 2020 presidential candidates are expected as well.
Organizers also expect thousands of S.C. voters from around the state to attend.
It is free to attend – so join us on the banks of the Little Pee Dee river.
