Community Meeting *Rescheduled for Sunday, September 23*
This is an Executive Committee Meeting that is open to the community. It will provide an overview of our election plan for November 6. Learn how you can get involved. We will be meeting at Tapp’s Art Center at 1644 Main St. Meters are free on Sunday and there is a public parking lot across Blanding St. This meeting will replace the Executive Committee Meeting previously scheduled for September 11th. This event was rescheduled due to Hurricane Florence. The time below (9/23) is the corrected time.

Election Volunteer Trainings
Learn how to help with the November election. Subjects include practicing our script for the election, learning how to canvass with your smartphone (no more flipping pages!), and learning how to virtual phone bank so that you can make calls from your home.
Sign up for one of the training sessions below. Registering online guarantees that we will be ready for you and you won’t need to complete paperwork at the event.
All trainings will be held at the RCDP office at 915 Lady St., Columbia. There is a parking lot in the back off of Washington St.
We need volunteers because we’re only 8 weeks away from November 6th!
We will be canvassing in small groups from September 17 through November 4th to turn out the vote! We’ll be knocking on doors Monday through Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons from 2:30 to 5:30. Just bring a water bottle and good walking shoes – we’ll provide the materials, scripts, and training! Sign up for a a regular 2 hour shift on a set day of the week or choose specific dates that work with your schedule!
We need volunteers to phone bank from September 17 through November 4th! The only thing you’ll need to bring is a phone – we have scripts and other materials ready to go! Phone banking can be done at the RCDP office at 915 Lady Street Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m or virtually at your home!
We also need volunteers to help out around the RCDP office doing everything from writing postcards and planning for events to creating flyers and canvassing packets.
