Build the Bench with RCDP- Training & Discussion Sessions – Working together to strengthen our Party

A successful coach builds a deep bench by cultivating the skills and talents of each team member. The Richland County Democratic Party meets on Thursday evenings for discussions and training for volunteers, precinct leaders, activists and candidates.

The third Thursday of each month will be focused on precinct leadership.

The DNC has thorough online training resources to guide our discussions. Hands-on training will be available from local party volunteers and leaders.

Our goal is to build a deep bench of volunteers, candidates and party leaders in Richland County, including:

• training field volunteers and precinct leaders

• finding folks with diverse strengths and talents to grow the party’s potential

• learning & discussing the practical aspects of building and maintaining a healthy county party

• recruiting & supporting candidates with volunteers and resources
